Conventions of a Contents Page

Here is a list of conventions on contents pages:
- Always have a photograph of an artist
- The cover story stands out from the rest
- The title is always at the top of the page
- The list of pages is never directly centred
- pop ups of extra information of offers or the magazine company

Overall i found that there are not many conventions of the contents pages and most magazines have their own styles which they like to use. The conventions that i did find are ones that must be used and are seen on all of the pages i looked at but there is still lots of things you can change. I will ensure that i use all of the vital conventions but other than that i will create my own style for a contents page.
